So far, we've only seen the 2017 Pontiac Trans Am Hybrid
Electric Car in concept form. And what we've seen, we like.
According to automotive website TransAmHybrid.com, the
next-generation 2017 Trans Am Hybrid will use a turbocharged V6 engine and three
different electric motors. The online publication guesses this combination
should result in nearly 480 horsepower -- a good deal more than the 2017 Firebird Hybrid Model.
While we wait for Pontiac to tell us official horsepower,
fuel economy and pricing figures of the car, videos (like this one Pontiac

Car Course) make us anxious to get to see this mid-engine Trans Am hybrid
sports car in the flesh.
